The bowl-and-brush ritual is officially retired.
I used to skip clay masks entirely because I hated the mess. This one lives on my vanity, I twist it up twice a week, and my forehead pores look calmer than they've been in years.

One twist, one glide, ten minutes to breathe. PlainBeauty was built for the person who wants a real exfoliation step without the bowl, the brush, or the counter-top clean-up. The clay glides on satin-smooth, the acids do quiet work, and you rinse away with skin that reads softer, fresher, and a little more polished.

A resurfacing routine that doesn't fight your skin — designed to smooth surface texture, refine the look of pores, and mattify shine, while soothing botanicals keep everything comfortable.
AHA (glycolic) gently sweeps away dead surface skin.
BHA (salicylic) works into oil-clogged, congested-looking pores.
PHA (lactobionic) delivers surface exfoliation without over-stripping.
Volcanic soil + illite clay draw down midday shine.
Niacinamide + NAG support a smoother, more even tone.
Panthenol, beta-glucan & chamomile leave skin feeling soothed.
It's designed for normal, oily and combination skin, and for anyone wanting to improve the appearance of rough texture, dullness, or clogged-looking pores. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, patch test on your inner arm for 24 hours first and start with once-a-week use.
2-3 times a week is a good starting rhythm for most people. If your skin is on the sensitive side, begin at once a week and adjust up gradually as your skin tolerates it.
After cleansing, on dry skin. Glide a thin layer across your face avoiding the eyes and lips, leave on for 8-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and follow with your serum and moisturizer.
To avoid over-exfoliating, we recommend not layering it on the same day as other AHA/BHA/retinoid products. Space them across different days and always finish with a moisturizer and a broad-spectrum SPF in the morning.
We recommend checking with your doctor or a licensed healthcare professional before adding any exfoliating skincare during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Yes — exfoliating acids can make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning and reapply through the day.
With 2-3 uses a week and a thin, even application, one 40 G stick typically lasts several months. Replace the cap after each use to keep the formula fresh.

Softer skin without the sting.
I've tried a lot of acid products and this one is the first that doesn't leave my cheeks stinging or red. My skin genuinely feels smoother after rinsing. Ordered a backup already.

Two minutes and my nose looks smoother.
The stick format is genuinely the reason I actually stick with this. I was skeptical it would do anything but my T-zone reads noticeably less shiny by afternoon.

Beautiful packaging, gentle result.
The packaging is honestly gorgeous on my vanity. Result-wise it's more subtle than dramatic — my skin looks a little more polished but not transformed. Would keep in rotation.

Zero irritation on darker skin.
I was cautious with acids because my skin scars easily, but this one has been really kind to my skin. No sting, no darker spots after, just a smoother finish. Would repurchase.

My favorite low-effort skincare step.
The soothing ingredients are what sold me — I have reactive skin and this doesn't tip it over the edge. My complexion looks fresher on the mornings after I use it. It's now my Sunday-night ritual.
